Production Planning Clerk (m/f/d)

The Role:

Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain Management, the Production Planning Clerk will support the department with the day-to-day job requirements.

Main responsibilities include:

• To confirm customer orders based on capacity availability and material availability.
• To issue work orders.
• To provide lead times to customer requests.
• To follow production and order fulfilment.
• To monitor budget figures and production efficiency.
• To highlight anticipated shortages to Buyers.
• To maintain safety stocks in Oracle.
• To highlight capacity issues to Planning and Production Managers.
• To update Customer Service and Logistics of potentially backlog items.
• To provide Customer Service with new delivery dates and reasons for backlog items.
• To assist in refining and developing further MRP system.

Skills and Experience required:

• Excellent computer knowledge with strong knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Email.
• Sound education with a good knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written.
• Organised and meticulous approach to work.
• Excellent team player.
• Knowledge and experience in the use of Oracle would be considered an asset.
  
  The role will start initially on a six (6)-month trial basis. If the selected applicant is successful, a permanent official appointment would be offered. No change will be made throughout the trial period.
